Stand your Ground
To 'stand your ground' means to put on your armor and know the Word of God. It involves standing firm in our faith, living righteously, sharing the message of peace, immersing ourselves in truth, and accepting the gift of salvation. This stance does not require us to seek out conflict or engage in every battle we encounter. Instead, we serve as warriors of God by studying His Word and training with the armor He has provided. By doing so, we prepare ourselves to fight attacks from the enemy and to take part in His victory, all while recognizing that the battle belongs to Him.
We often teach children about being a part of the Lord's army but can forget, as we grow older, that we are still very much in it. We all play a part in this fight against the enemy. Jesus's victory on the cross made us worthy to serve Him and to stand together in unity within our battles.
In addition to the armor, we know that prayer is the most vital weapon we have. We recognize that our own strength is limited, but as we immerse ourselves in these truths, prayerfully apply them in our lives, and rely on God's strength, we can navigate the spiritual battles we face with grace and conviction.
We encourage you to dig deeper into scripture and see for yourself how these pieces of armor can help you in any spiritual battle you face.
